Unfortunately many of the fields at Greenwood Park were 'turfed' earlier this Spring. We are working with the city to repair the fields, however they will probably be closed most of the Spring. The only fields untouched, and OPEN, are the mini fields against the woods.
Please use good judgement in keeping practices away from any standing water, muddy patches, and extremely soft or saturated ground.
PLEASE DO NOT PRACTICE IN THE GOAL MOUTHS OR PENALTY BOX AREAS. THERE IS PLENTY OF OTHER FIELD SPACE TO HOLD YOUR PRACTICE. THANKS FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.
Of the city and township parks with soccer fields, Rec practices can be held at Greenwood, Huffman, JVS, and Whitetail. But as you know any green space is useable !!!
All Cunningham fields are reserved for Rangers or Classics practices only.

WEATHER ALERT - Please remember that if lighting is seen, the accepted standard is to exit fields and remain in a protected area for 30 minutes before returning to the fields.
Please take care when practicing on the fields. Stay out of the goal mouths and areas with open mud or dirt. Please report any holes or other problems with the fields, goals, or nets to fields@medinasoccer.org.
Please remember that any game cancellations due to inclement weather will be made either here on the MSA website or directly at the field by the referee. If you do not see any messages here or on the MSA home page, please assume the game will be played.
Buckeye Woods is by reservation only; please contact the Medina County Parks for information at parks@medinacountyparks.com.
Just a reminder to all coaches that any scheduled games (MSA Rec or Travel) will always take precedence of field usage over any practices.
