Ian 
Jones holds a USYSA “D” License.  He has been the Director of Medina Classics since 2004.  Coach Jones has been a coach with the Medina Classics program since 1995.  He has served numerous positions on the Medina Soccer Association Board since 1998. 

Doug Coreno

Doug has been a head coach at the varsity high school level for nine years. Three years as head coach for J.F. Byrnes Academy (Florence, SC) boys’ varsity team. In 1999 he coached the team to the state quarter finals, and in 2000 he coached the team to the state semi-finals. He also spent four years as the head boys’ varsity coach for Berea High School. In 2002, he coached Berea to the first district championship and regional semi-final appearance in school history.

Doug is currently the Medina High School head varsity girls’ soccer coach where he has a record of 36-2-4. Medina won the 2009 Division 1 State Championship defeating Dublin Coffman 4-0 in the finals. This was the largest margin of victory in the history of the Division 1 state championship game. Doug was the 2008 Northeast Ohio Conference Coach of the Year, and in 2009 the Coach of the Year in the Plain Dealer and Gazette newspapers.

In addition, Doug is the head coach of the Cleveland Futbol Club/Pennine U-18 team. He coached the CFC U-11s to a state championship in 2008, and the CFC U-14s to a state championship and Regional appearance in 2009.

Jason Bulan
Jasopn Bulan
Coach Jason began developing a passion for the game of soccer 30 years ago while playing for the Brunswick Blast travel soccer program.  He continued to play for Brunswick High School and was named first team Pioneer conference his senior year and was named Most Valuable Player.  He continued to play recreationally at Miami of Ohio and still plays in the Medina adult league and for Napoli FC in Brunswick.  He began his coaching career while in High School, continued during his college years while in SW Ohio in Cincinnati youth leagues, and now with Medina Soccer Association and the Medina Classics for a combined 12 years of experience.   Jason holds an OYSAN U9/12 license.
